Highlights of this safari include:
- Enlighting Art studio visits to established Kenyan Artists studio and National Museum of Kenya
- Drive through the only Wildlife National Park existing in a City in Nairobi, on the tour you’ll walk by the crocodile river and spot some hippos if we’re lucky and end the day with some sketching after a picnic lunch
- Apart from painting at the picturesque lake teeming with birdlife including flamingoes there will also be a chance to hike up the Sleeping Warrior and have a bush lunch before heading back to Nairobi.
- Travel by train to Tsavo, and arrive in a private conservancy that offers views in every direction. Enjoy some waterhole sketching before an afternoon game drive
- Cultural exchanges that are respectful and mutually enriching
1st Location
Arrive in Nairobi and make our way to the incredible Nairobi National Park. Spend the night at the camp and enjoy an early morning game drive before a sketch and paint workshop at the viewpoint.
2nd Location
Arrive at Elmentaita in time for tea
Enjoy an evening game drive and sundowners at the viewpoint.
Spend the whole day sketching and painting with the meals catered on-site.
3rd Location
This private conservancy is also one of Kenya’s best kept secrets despite being here for over 100 years.
Explore painting and touring the factory, the working farm and all the sustainable methods employed to conserve water and keep everyone well-fed.
